THE SUN SENTINEL BELIEVES WHITNEY RAWLS WILL BE STEADY, STRONG AND NEVER GIVE UP
Pompano Beach, FL (August 15, 2016) – In a 4-way race for Florida’s House District 92, Whitney Rawls stands out among the competition as a State Representative who will be “steady, strong and never give up,” according to the Sun Sentinel’s Editorial Board. The sentiment is echoed by Whitney’s supporters and those who recognize his hard work and his innovative and tenacious leadership ability.
“Whitney is the RIGHT person to represent us in the Florida House of Representatives. He will continue to fight for our community,” says Dr. Edwina Coleman, Lauderdale Lakes City Commissioner.
During the Sun Sentinel’s Editorial Board interview, Whitney held his own among opponents with extensive backgrounds and elected experience but who lacked participation and well-rounded knowledge of the community and its issues. The Sun Sentinel wrote:

“It is not enough for me to tout that I am from Pompano Beach, one of the largest cities in District 92. It is not enough for me to say that I have lived in 5 of the 8 cities in District 92. However, my service to our community speaks for itself. My ability to get things done while not being an elected official proves I am respected and I can work well with others. It proves I have been on the ground fighting for our families and our local businesses. My platform of economics, education and equity is embodied in the work that I have been privalaged to participate in and accomplish.
